Nguyen is making his fourth Championship start in 2026 and first since 2024. He has two top-20 finishes in the Asia-Pacific Amateur, including a T-7 performance in 2023 in Australia. Earlier this year, the Arizona State University sophomore earned Honorable Mention All-America honors following his first collegiate season at Oregon State and was part of the winning International team in the Arnold Palmer Cup in Ireland. In 2025, he was runner-up in the U.S. Junior Amateur in Texas and represented his country in the Eisenhower Trophy in Singapore.
