Selvaraj is making his second Championship start in 2026. Earlier this year, he recorded five top-10 performances in World Amateur Golf Ranking events, including T-6 in the Emirates Golf Federation Order of Merit Championship. In 2025, he won events in Morocco and the United Arab Emirates and finished third in the Gulf Cooperation Council Championship in Saudi Arabia and T-4 in the Bahrain Open Amateur.
