Bio

Kobayashi is making his second Championship start in 2025. In his Asia-Pacific Amateur debut in 2024, his seventh-place performance at Taiheiyo Club Gotemba was highlighted by a hole-in-one on No. 17 in the third round. Earlier this year, he finished ninth in the Kanto Amateur Championship and T-7 in the Japan Collegiate Championship. He won the Royal Junior in Japan in 2023.
