Nagasaki is making his second Championship start in 2026. In 2025 at Emirates Golf Club in Dubai, he finished runner-up in his Asia-Pacific Amateur debut after losing in a playoff to Thailand’s Fifa Laopakdee. Earlier this year, he won the Japan Junior Championship by seven strokes and was named to the International team in the Junior Presidents Cup near Chicago. Also in 2025, he earned co-medalist honors in the Toyota Junior World Cup, was runner-up in the Japan Amateur and represented his country in the Eisenhower Trophy in Singapore.
